Yawcam is a decent webcam software, however the motion detection side of Yawcam is very annoying and somewhat flawed. For example when lighting level changes from day to night, the motion detect will go crazy and start detecting things that are not even moving. I had the perfect motion detection setup in the day and it would only detect actual things moving, yet when it came to night my storage started filling up by the minute due to Yawcam detecting "motion" which was never even there (I made it save a short clip of every motion.)
