I used Secret Folder for several months and liked it. Product was effective and easy to use. However, I found other unwanted files that showed up and traced it back to Secret Folder. The License Agreement says "SecretFolder is running as a sponsored program.
Sponsored program BRTSvc is a cryptocurrency miner and is a sponsor program that utilizes system resources only when the PC is idle to minimize user inconvenience.
If the user is not comfortable with the sponsor program, delete BRTSvc from Add Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel."
I was "not comfortable" and uninstalled it but later Malwarebytes Free found additional Bitcoin Miner files still lurking around.
Price is right but it is too sneaky for me.
