Excellent alternative to photoshop. 4 stars
I'm not a professional user of this kind of programs but for what I need most of the time (banners, thumbnails, etc) Paint.NET is amazing. I've tried Photoshop before (and others alike) but the interface and the amount of options was overwhelming. When I discovered Paint.NET I was intrigued by it. Seems to be more friendly, although with the same amount of options as other more popular software. I haven't use it to its max potential yet, because of my casual approach to this kind of programs but so far, has been great. For free, it's fantastic. I would say, give it a try, play hard with it and then decide wether is good or not. I'm biased to it now. I cannot live without it. Price: Free
