I have installed this on multiple PCs. Then yesterday, a new, laptop with Win 7 Pro-64 SP1. Install went well until the black screen, flashing cursor. Windows repair disk showed the partition still had all the files, just no boot. Luckily, I had created a restore point a couple hours earlier; so I restored, rebooted, black screen. I had legacy boot, disabled UEFI, etc., but I had not imaged the hard drive. :( Eventually I booted to a well known live Cd (Hm) and was able to repair the mbr and get Windows back. If I was a novice user, I would be thinking about returning my "broken" laptop.
Once burned, twice shy. I am now back shopping for a full drive encryption solution, paid or not.
