I've had Hexonic Scan to PDF installed for about fifteen minutes, now, so I can't get into advanced features or esoterica.
Download: quick and easy (some of that credit to SnapFiles, I guess)
Installation: quick and easy BUT DON'T NEGLECT TO DECLINE THE ADD-ON SOFTWARE.
Ease of Use: essentially obvious and self-explanatory, at least at the basic level.
Functionality: Needed a .pdf of my wife's passport. After installation, job done in less than a minute.
I don't generally write reviews, but there were only a few for this software, and they deserve a good word.
