Keep a text log throughout the day 5 stars
I have been using this for years. I always have it running, and it surfaces and reminds me to make notes on what is happening. I then get a lovely timestamped log to refer to at the end of every day. If you get in the habit of starting every entry with a one word project title, you can easily account for your time spent on various projects. It is simple and versatile and I couldn't live without it. Price: Free
