Avast is fine until you have a problem. The 2 prior viruses that got through, I was able to fix with help that I found on Google. With this latest one I cant get my computer to do a thing and there are so many error messages we can't keep track of them.
We called the customer service number we were given when we purchased the upgraded version of avast only to be told that they could help us clear up the virus for an additional 169 for a year of service, otherwise we were on our own.
I honestly had less problems with Norton but was trying to go a cheaper route...lesson learned.
