I was searching for a ftp server which supports XCRC, so I was testing Quick n Easy FTP Server (light and professional).
Using it on a Win 2008 VPS with 2GB RAM it tuned out however, that it takes this ftp server about 4 times longer than the Standard FTP Server comming with the Windows 2008 (IIS).
I downloaded a 256MB Web Site with large media and it took about 20 minutes (XCRC was not used for the test. With the MS FTP server (IIS) it took 5 Minutes.
Unfortunatley, the IIS does not support XCRC, but the speed difference is very high.
