I needed to merge 47 short AVI clips so I can edit them in Adobe Premiere. Unfortunately Premiere cannot display more than 20 AVIs in the time-line, so I had to reduce their number.
VideoMach had no problems with that. I merged all the clips into a single video and saved Lagarith encoded AVI. I used Lagarith because it's lossless (no loss of quality) and thus ideal for editing.
Other programs that I tried didn't allow me to use that codec. They had DIVX, 3GP, MP4 and other popular formats, which decrease video quality, but I couldn't use my installed codecs. With VideoMach it worked like a charm.
