If you want a fast collection of todo lists this is it. It is not project management software or a reminder system. It has helped me save time as opposed to a todo list that is really project management software. You can enter due date and it does color things that are late.
So intuitive using windows drag and drop, doubleclick and context menus. I didn't have to read any instructions. About 5 minutes of initial learning and I was good. I tried a highly rated one in this category, but it was so hard to use after 45 minutes I quit. This one let me build many task groups rapidly. You can drag and drop projects or tasks to put them in priority order or change items from project to project.
I've had trouble becoming a GTD enabled person, but this one really helps me get there. With GTD philosophy you need to review each project, this helped me to develop that discipline.
At least give this one a try. I tried outlook for tasks, UKs Kalender and others none was quick and easy enough for quickly capturing tasks.
The code and data are stored together making it mobile. It can be moved to dropbox or a usb key easily. I just had to move the GeeTeeDee directory, and update the startup menu shortcut. Find where it is located from the shortcut. It is not installed to a typical location.
Tips: Use the New Icon for adding tasks, but use right mouse button to add groups under the inbox.
I drag things that are done to the bottom if I want to keep them temporarily.
