I was trying to write a Matlab program to rename thousands of files in multiple sub-directories. I googled to find an easier way and found this utility. It took me a few seconds to figure out, it's nice that you could see a preview of the changes, giving you a chance to play around with the settings.
Once I figured it out, it took seconds! Something that would otherwise have taken me hours to do!
