This program is exactly what I was looking for. It performs the function I needed --- encoding wav files to mp3, including batch processing. It is absolutely free and the download is only 1.1 mb. (By contrast, a few days ago, I downloaded another program from a "Freeware" website. It was 34 mb, which tipped me off right away that it was bloatware. After downloading and installing it, I tried to run it, only to find that it was a non-functional version, designed to make you buy it. Of course I immediately uninstalled and discarded it.) The only flaw I found with Shuangs WAV to MP3 Converter is that it is not a "portable" stand alone program --- a flaw it shares with nearly all other software. I would recommend Shuangs WAV to MP3 Converter without reservation to anyone in need of a WAV to MP3 Converter. Price: Free
