Radian fits a critical niche for me: I like to have my most used programs and files easily and 'visually' available. Few file docking and activating programs really help here. The other best in class might be Rocketdock. What Radian does very well is give you an icon to look at (you drag them to the appropriate spot in the circular grid) and then, like other programs similar to Radian, you click on the program or file and it opens appropriately.
Radian hits another sweet spot; it doesn't take over your screen. Holding down the right mouse button brings up a 'hint' of the program, the inner 'Ring' with arrows on it. Then drifting your mouse (the right button is still down!) to one of the arrows (left, right, up down) brings up the quarter grid with three more rings that hold your varous icons. Did I say Very cool?
What Don't I like? I'd like another ring to populate with more programs. This can grow on you very quickly!
