I am not an audio engineer, but simply have a hobby of ripping music from my old vinyl(and acetate). I tried Wave Pad, though found the recording quality to be unacceptable. The function of click/pop removal removed far too much--where a chisel would have been indicated, it acted as a back hoe, making the music sound very clipped and tinny. The only feature that was kind of cool was one that let you cue up several features to be run sequentially. However, the resultant music quality was unacceptable. By the time I started looking for ways to tweak the performance, the trial time was over and I could not access those functions again without purchasing the program.

Did you try Golden Records to convert your vinyl records to cd?
