Gamebooster is useful any time you are bumping up
against you computers memory limit. It shuts down
a lot of non-essential programs, to free memory.
Then later, with one button click, it will restart
them. I've been using a few times a day, for
about a week, for PC performance testing. It not
only shuts down things like my instant messenger,
but also many less obvious programs, like
automatic updaters. It is a lot easier to use,
and much more effective, than trying to shut down
these programs manually, which is what I did
before.
