I have been using Living Cookbook 2005 for 3 years and have been mightily impressed ever since. LC 2008 incorporates the best of LC2005 and adds myriad enhancements and refinements.It is as useful to the home cook who simply wants to use it for recipe management as it is for chefs and caterers who need advanced functions.
The price is very reasonable--for the price one would expect a very rudimentary, basic, simplistic program. Not so! Whenever I read the forums, I learn another sophisticated aspect to enhance and extend my usage.
I have never used a program that has such incredible, quick, complete, patient and caring support. Response time for answers on the forum, directly from Lee, the developer, is usually within a few minutes or hours, unless he takes a rare day off. Quite extraordinary in this time of mediocrity and decreased customer service.
