My computer got infected over updated NOD32, and the infection did something to my Windows XP pro SP2 TCP/IP stack. After the cleaning of the infection, I think it was called Webhancer something, TCP stack was left busted.
After unsuccessful manual reset of tcp stack with netsh I was ready to reinstall XP, what is a horrific thing to do on my dev machine I found this fix, and my TCP/IP is working again. Thank you, thank you and thank you.
