Within 30-45 minutes of downloading this program, I was already encoding and converting my 'screenshot video' that I needed for a client. In order to keep file sizes low though, you must use and install either their (also) freely available codec from their website (click on the website link) - or I used 'AVIZlib' in mine, reduced the quality to 30, reduced fps to 15, enabled high compression. I produced a nearly 4 minute, 800x600, 15fps, no audio, 256 color AVI file to 10mb - and then compressed it down to 1.6mb with their included SWF producer. It even generates the webpage with the embedded player already linked to the file! What could be simpler? Note though, for Firefox compatibility, be sure to use either the 'fix' on their website (easy enough) or use the new 2.5 beta version (also on their website). Great program. You can pay $300 for similar software - but why? This works - go donate to them and then buy yourself something nice.
