Tried this as an alternative to Movie Maker (free with Windows XP SP2). As far as I can tell, this adds almost no functionality, except a handful of predefined templates to stylize your video. Editing controls are non-existent, and as far as the style templates are concerned, there are essentially no options! This software is apparently intended for individuals that have absolutely no ability/interest to edit their movies, but I really don't find it any easier than Movie Maker.
To be fair, I only used the trial (and for about 15 minutes; that's about all the time you need to explore all it's features - or lack thereof). I was using four < 1 MB clips to test it, and I was amazed how bogged down it got with such tiny clips! It wastes resources unnecessarily, for example, everytime you select a template, it plays a preview which takes about 5-10 seconds.
I wish I could offer one positive feature, but it doesn't have one.
