I constantly use PSPad with programs I am writing, and even more with websites. The built in FTP support means you can just log in to FTP, double click to open a file, and CTRL+S saves straight to FTP. I've set it up to handle files of my own formatting, and I've suggested it to everybody I know that codes on Windows. Price: Free
