This free version does what it says--WAV to MP3 and more; however it lacks some features which are almost standard on alot of other free converters. This one ONLY converts from WAV. It does not recognize MP3 to other formats or WMA to other formats, ONLY WAV to other formats. WAV is rarely used anymore for music so this defeats the whole purpose for a converter. If you want other features to convert from, you need to buy an upgraded version. At least some of the converters out there allow you to try out all their conversion features for a while--this one does not. WAV for music is a thing of the past which is why I would not recommend this to anyone unless they just have alot of WAV files they need converted. There are better programs out there for free AND for purchase. Price: Free
