The one thing every email program MUST -is say MUST- have is decent backing up of mails automatically at a place that cannot be destroyed if PC gets down. It MUST be user friendly and read and get at with common textsoftware. This is what definitely LACKS in thunderbird. To much gimickking us alas needed to get at mails that in fact are basically texts!
