I couldn't find the .ico export settings in Photoshop, Corel OR Paint Shop Pro.
Instead of wasting more time, I resized my art to 256x256 pixels, saved it as a .bmp and and ran this little wizard on it. Done.
It makes windows icons, and even 16x16 favicon.ico icons that you can put in your website root directory, so you can have an icon like the green Snapfiles "S" on your browser's address bar.
I already have all the design tools I need. This simply creates the icon(s) I needed. What a relief! Thanks to the Author! I really didn't need more expensive bloatware cluttering up my computer.
The only 'drawback' is that it is a no frills program, and might not be suitable for absolute beginners in need of a walkthrough.
