I downloaded this program hoping it would do what my current product does but be more stable.
I already have a network manager but sometimes the icon does not appear on boot. Some kind of bug in the program I guess but it works non the less.
I was hoping to replace it with this product possibly even the paid version but this product lacks a feature my other program has and without that feature I will just keep what I have.
What is missing is an option to either allow or disallow the exceptions in Windows Firewall.
I would like my network manager to either allow file and printer sharing or not depending on the connection I am currently connected to.
If this program had that feature (even if only in the paid version) I would consider trying it again.

Makes switching between network settings a breeze without having to rely on memory or needing to look-up the information. Highly useful for laptops that are used on multiple networks or when traveling. The program is very easy to use. The newest version allows either a portable or a regular installation.

Having to switch between TCP/IP settings was a pain before I found NetSetMan. The program is easy to use, doesn't use a lot of resources, and ends a lot of frustration I had when moving between networks.

I'm very glad I've found this app. Needed one like it for years and I've tried several that just didn't work. Well this one does work. You get lots of options, almost everything you can think of. Now I can switch networks on my laptop almost instantaneous. The interface is not very intuitive (for example renaming a configuration is a bit tricky to find) but I was surprised to find so many features, good work.

Thank you for the nice words. I m always open-minded for new ideas and improvements concerning the user interface.
One of the goals is to keep it tiny and clean. To rename a profile you can doubleclick its name or rightclick and chose "rename". I can t imagine an easier or more intuitive way to do that. :)
I was looking for a simple program with which I could switch between a few networks. This is it! With one click I can change on the fly the most important settings like Workgroup, Domain and IP-addresses. No restart needed! It is not possible to change settings like SMTP, Firewall, etc... If you want that too, you have to look further.
