Many apps this small have worse interfaces. This is friendly and helpful. Asks for blank CD, prompts to erase non-blank CDRW. Couldn't reproduce the hang that Cipher reported - I could click the checkboxes whenever. I haven't tried the commandline options yet, but ability to control via commandline is a nice perk.

A good little utility by Cipher
Jan 12, 2008
It took days to download linux on dialup, so when it came time to look for something to burn the iso to CD, I was glad to find this little utility that downloaded in less than 10 seconds.
I added the "read verify" checkbox while the disk was writing, and my computer hung when it came to that part (should have known, I guess), so make sure to place all the checks before you start. But, the disk works fine, so I don't know what you'd have to do to make this actually ruin one. It sure came in handy for me.

Tiny and no install needed. Erases disks and burns iso images period. Has various writing speeds. Nothing fancy but works great most of the time. A burner that anyone can feel comfortable using.

A very small but very effective app. I have Roxio which is ok for other media burning tasks but Burn CDCC can't be beat for quick and simple ISO burning.

This app has been so useful to me! When I want to burn an ISO file I download off the net, this little guy takes care of the task without any problems, no matter what type it is, CD or DVD. No install routine, so sharing it is simple.
