Wouldn't waste the time 2 stars by gimpguy Aug 27, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
This is obviously out of date and with the download managers now, this holds little to no interest to me or likely others. Yes, it holds the url, it will then open the link to the download which can be done numerous ways without this. BUT, someone may still find it useful and it's free. show Review details

Thank you for this..easy..and it works..I can't fault it..if you want to keep it really simple..then this is for you..if you want loads of features..and a complicated download..then look elsewhere..highly recommend ..for a nice easy life.. show Review details

Nice, simple download manager. 5 stars by Griffin Feb 04, 2006 (Read all my 11 reviews)
Generally found it far more useful than the other DL managers I tried. Their complexity added nothing useful for me. I loved being able to drag links into the DL mgr window to DL. Could have a few more features for me. Control-click did not work for PDF's (maybe works for others?). I would like to be able to (optionally) select the DL folder for each new DL I drag to the window. Nice program, though. Excellent at what it does and fast. show Review details
Wackget is what i was looking for ... 4 stars by MikeHH Jul 14, 2005
I was searching for a free small and robust dl manager to run it from a remote pc . WackGet installation is as small as a jpg image , fast and robust . I prepare my URL list from my home PC and then I simply hit Ctrl-V from the remote pc (w WackGet) and bingo ... Doesn't have import list but Ctrl-V works fine . Yes I'm still using GetRight but WackGet works fine in simple cases , doesn't asks you money , and never let you down ... Be careful for the first time installation to set up maximum number of downloads. show Review details
