system tray webcam viewer VideoThumb is a simple, but very useful tool that allows you to quickly view any local webcam/WDM video source without taking up any desktop space. It runs in the system tray and displays the configured video source in a small thumb-sized window above your system tray when clicked. The program automatically detects any installed webcam device, and allows you to change the source if needed. You can also create shortcuts that will launch the selected source in a custom size window. VideoThumb can be very handy if you want to keep an eye on your webcam, without using much (or any) of your desktop space. Version 2 uses DirectX 9, and can display the video in a thumbnail window, fullscreen or in desktop mode and also offers digital zoom.
