recover files from scratched discs Unstoppable Copier enables you to recover data from CDs, DVDs and hard drives with problems such as bad sectors, scratches or other issues that cause read errors. When the program encounters a corrupt file, it will attempt to stitch any readable pieces together, which may result in a partial, yet usable file. You can also choose to skip the damaged file and continue the copy process until the next problem file is found. Other features include option to auto-skip damaged files, copy good files first, resume partial files, batch processing and more. You should note that recovery may take a very long time if there are many corrupted files. Copyright Snapfiles.com

It works 5 stars by gimpguy Mar 30, 2011 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
I have been using this for a long time and glad to see Roadkill is still keeping these items going. I first caught glance of this due to my cat looking identical to Dione, couldn't tell them apart, this led me to try it and had quite a few CDs at the time I could not get the information off of. I ran UC and it actually recovered almost every file from that scratched CD and I never forgot how well it worked. I needed to recover driver files from my friend's driver disk, who had no internet and I had UC on flash drive, recovered his driver files and installed them on his system, all went well. This has been a wonderful scratched disk recovery tool for a long time and yes, there are instances where nothing is going to recover the information. Anything THAT badly damaged would need physical repair if in fact it could be repaired at all but for most unreadable media, this is the tool to use. show Review details
