First impression on Windows 8.1 machine: Movie play: no Pause/Stop button. Annoying button-hiding timer in bottom right corner. No sound if you can't hear it, you can't (re)edit it. I am sorry that my first impression is not very positive. show Review details
Awesome movie edit 4 stars by gimpguy Nov 01, 2009 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
Reading the above posts, which are old now, a few things, first, for everything this has to offer, it's not going to be Ccleaner and a one click method, it's going to be complicated to an extent. I felt it was actually fairly easy to work around and figure out. Nag screen? Most nag screens cannot be disabled, I don't feel this was "in my opinion" a nag screen as those that are constantly popping up, especially for donations for such a great freeware. Calling home? Most do for updates, it's not an intrusion at all, I checked personally. I found a fair amount of documentation on the internet to use this when I got stuck, however, as I progress, I will likely make a tut for this great software. My movies will now have great additions that they were lacking prior. I say excellent work to the author! And thank you for this great software! show Review details
