correct red-eye effects Red Eye Rescue enables you to automatically correct red-eye effects in digital images. The automatic mode attempts to detect the red-eye effect (if present) and automatically corrects it by darkening the pupils. With some images this approach will work fine, with others it will not, in which case you can try 2 additional approaches - the area selection and manual selection. We found the automatic mode to be rather slow and unreliable (especially if the image contains other red areas) and while the manual options work OK, the results were not always as good as we have seen with similar programs.
