protect your computer from zero-day exploits Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit aims to protect your computer from zero-day exploits targeting browser and application vulnerabilities. Unlike anti-virus tools, this program does not require daily signature updates and it designed to work alongside other anti-virus or malware protection software. Exactly how Anti-Exploit works is not fully explained, but it appears to shield a list of applications from malicious interactions. The list includes all popular browsers (Firefox, Chrome, IE, Opera), Adobe Reader, MS Office, Windows Media Player and others. Copyright Snapfiles.com

A must have! 5 stars by Klatuu Sep 30, 2023 (Read all my 29 reviews)
If you are not running a paid version of a good Anti-Malware software, this is a must have! The ransomware hijacks that take over when you click on a dangerous link can get right past most Anti-Virus software. This stops them dead in their tracks. I've gotten hit 3x online with these. Luckily I was able to disable the ransom screen on the first one, and then I started using Anti-Exploit. The next two were instantly stopped! Uses very little resources and starts with Windows Just go to the Settings Tab and click the Advanced Settings button, and check all the available boxes for full protection and you're done. Do not go online (especially to social media) without it! show Review details
Free extra layer of protection 4 stars by realbull2009250 Jul 18, 2015 (Read all my 60 reviews)
If you use SpywareBlaster then you could understand that Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit(MBAE) works in a similar way. Basically it will protect you from being exploited by malicious codes which will prompt you to download and install malware or spyware, with or without the user knowing it. What MBAE does is stop the malicious code from executing. Once it does it will notify the user that an attack was attempted. Personally I've not tested it on infected sites... The free version only protects browsers(practically any of them) and some other options are disabled(available for premium only). If you want more options and protection for other applications then you have to buy the premium version, but the free version is enough for most home users. The free version is suppose to automatically install new versions, but it doesn't work for me. I always have to manually download the new version and install it. I feel that Malwarebytes has a good reputation, so it is nice to just have it just in case. Anyway what do you have to lose? It's free. And being that it is free and can give you an extra layer of protection is much appreciated. show Review details
