Great capture 3 stars by gimpguy Aug 05, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
The Good : This has the ability to capture and area, blur out lines or objects you may not want in the capture. Say for a tutorial, you don't want your email or license key in the capture, you simply select and blur the lines, it's that easy. It also has ellipse capture, area, full screen, most of the basics that others have but a lot of perks too. It's fast, easy to assign keys, has a wizard window for capture options if you like. The bad : After trying to figure out how to capture without opening the editor, I believe there is no way to do so. The Print key will not work on it's own unless using it as a choice from the task bar icon. I selected the key and unchecked CTRL but no avail. Also, I found no way to create an auto name where I don't have to save and name every time I capture something. The default save folder opens to it's own program install folder, you may want to change that when capturing and saving. So it has quite a few shortcomings and I think I'll stick with my tried and true capture software. I feel these functions that nearly every screen capture utility have, should have been implemented without question. Still decent freebie. show Review details
