adds folder size column to Explorer Folder Size is a handy shell extension that adds a `Folder Size` column to the Windows Explorer which displays - you guessed correctly - the total size of the folder in the details view. You can sort the column just like any other column, and use it to replace the standard File Size column since it also displays the size of individual files. Folder Size also works with Vista/7/8, however, the folder sizes are displayed in a separate window and not integrated with Windows Explorer. Copyright

Does exactly what i need. 5 stars by asrs2007 Jul 11, 2012 (Read all my 6 reviews)
Very useful utility. The only problem is when a directory is very large, say 200 GB with thousands of subdirectories. Then, it takes time to calculate and display dirsize. However, built-in right-click and-select-properties method also works slow, so it is probably why MS people omitted such a feature. show Review details
Not for Vista or Win7 5 stars by compuable Jul 09, 2011 (Read all my 11 reviews)
Pros: Works wonderfully for Windows 2000 or XP - just like the developer says in the installation instructions. Cons: Does NOT work for VISTA or Windows 7, unfortunately... make sure to stop by developers website for instructions for an easy 8 step instruction on installation and use. show Review details

There is really not much to this program, as far as the end user is concerned. I was looking for a shell extension that worked with Windows Explorer and I found it. Folder Size shows me the size of each folder. That`s all I wanted. And I got it with Folder Size. show Review details
