portable Portable

monitor your hard drives for new executables ExeWatch is a small program that runs in the system tray and alerts you whenever a new executable (.exe, .com, .jar, .bat) is added to your hard drive(s). When a new executable is detected, the program will sound a beep, flash orange corner boxes on your desktop and write the details to a log file. You can also double-click the tray icon to quickly view the last executable that was detected. ExeWatch also offers a "Panic Mode". If Panic Mode is activated, the executable will be automatically renamed by adding a timestamp and an ".off" extension. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Watching exe on all drives 5 stars by busybusy Mar 10, 2020 (Read all my 257 reviews)
If you want to know what may be going on in your computer either during an update or installation of a program ExeWatch is great. It is a very small "portable" file which can be run at startup and notifies you visually both at the corners of your screen along with the system tray. It is only momentary for the corners so not to annoy anyone but the system tray will continue to blink. It is really well done. Note that it is an EXE watcher so no executables will not be tracked. Lovely program and works on Windows 7-10 with no issues. show Review details
