clone your hard drive EaseUs Disk Copy enables you to create an exact copy/clone of your internal hard drive (up to 1 TB size), by copying the data from one drive to the other, including all operating system settings, programs, data etc. This can be useful when you are upgrading or replacing your hard drive as it eliminates the need to reinstall Windows and all your programs. In order for EaseUs Disk Copy to work, the new hard drive must already be installed (external USB or Firewire drives are not supported). Documentation does not come included but is offered from the web site. The setup wizard will prompt you for a CD/DVD or USB drive and then create a bootable disk that you'll use to run Disk Copy. The free version supports drives up to 1 TB in size. Copyright Snapfiles.com

I'm amazed.. 5 stars by iAmEKMA Oct 14, 2012 (Read all my 6 reviews)
I had to do an image of a hard-drive that used a proprietary operating system...this worked like a charm. I burned it to a CD, popped it in, and after making a few (very easy) selections, let it do its work. Very straight-forward in the way it works. It asks you to choose the hard-drive you want to copy and then the one you want to copy to...can't get much easier than this! show Review details

It works 3 stars by vjacobi May 22, 2006 (Read all my 13 reviews)
I didn't see a need to actually install the program when all that it does is create a floppy disk, but nonetheless, thumbs up for effort off the starting blocks. I couldn't use a floppy disk in the system, so I used Nero to create a bootable CD, enabling the advanced bootable floppy options and keeping the defaults. I copied the files from the floppy to the hard drive, and added those files from the hard drive to the CD contents. The CD I created from the files and boot sector on the floppy booted the system without a problem. The program didn't offer the most intuitive interface I've ever used, but if you know the difference between your source and destination drives you should be ok. A 200GB drive with Windows XP Pro copied to another 200GB drive in about 110 minutes. Displayed was Reading Error, Writing Error, Elapsed Time, Remaining Time, Progress, Current Sector, Total Sector and "Esc" to cancel. Recommended. :) show Review details
