remove and manipulate HTML tags Detagger allows you to convert HTML files into formatted text, or selectively remove/manipulate HTML markup to tidy up your code in a number of ways. It outputs the document as plain text, preserving the marked up headings, lists and tables of the original document and formatting them into suitable text formats. Additional options allow you to set the page width of the output, and to add custom headers and footers to the output text. To remove or modify HTML code, you can simply select the classes of tags to be removed, sections of code to be stripped out, or tag manipulations to be performed. This allows you for example to remove tags added by MS Office applications; strip out HEAD or SCRIPT sections and more.
