I started as a diehard fan of .... Unfortunately, it's become a premium hoax and a showoff of IOBit's other wares... The same features apply here. Don't waste your time in the tweaks section of that ... app. The cool thing about this site is you can use Fresh UI to do the things that tweak section hasn't even laid out. As for Game Fire, it revs up your system in just 4-5 seconds. Disables visual themes and resets your color depth on the fly too if you wanna go all out.
The only thing I dislike is when you reboot it says gaming mode is on - when it is clearly not just yet so you have to click it twice. Other then that, it's banging on all four cylinders for me!!! The only con besides that small bug - ugly GUI. But come on, you only want to see this app for a few seconds anyways....
The software developer responded to this review on Feb 06, 2012:
We will continue to improve Game Fire with new features and bug fixes. The next release of Game Fire will offer new optimization methods like disabling third party services, temporary disabling of system sounds. New and safe tweaks will be added to Game Adviser.
Live Gaming Mode feature will be improved by:
1. Allowing auto defraging of system memory when needed.
2. Auto reducing priority of unnecessary background processes consuming high CPU power.
3. Creating list of games and apps that should have higher priority at all.
Beside, Smart PC Utilities promises to keep Game Fire FREE open source software forever.
