Super program, and portable. 5 stars
I use this program for mind mapping. I have used other mind-map solutions, but found them too complicated or dependent on external requirements like Dotnet or Java. This program is excellent in its simplicity. Portable and no frills. Just open and start drawing!

Needs DirectX 9 3 stars
Media Player Classic has the appearance of Windows Media Player 6.4. And used to handle more formats than its Microsoft counterpart. In my view the program doesn't seem fully mature. If you have a fairly new system with DirectX 10 or 11, MPC-HC insists on installing DirectX 9. I hope in time this dependency will be solved, to make MPC a true small program capable of great things.

Does exactly what it is designed for. 5 stars
This utility does precisely what it's intended to: protect a text file. No bells and whistles. Incorporating program and text file is genius. Just rename the program into something meaningful to you, and use multiple instances for various files. All file operations are there. As if you're in Notepad. It's even localized in my (Dutch) language.
