I've just built myself a new tower and needed to move all my files from my laptop. Of course, I was stupid enough to try to copy these with Windows Explorer even though I knew that it would fail at some point on one of the files and then I'd have to start over.
I then looked for a utility to do this and Ycopy fit the bill perfectly. I had it installed and running in less than 5 mins. The interface is intuitive and easy to grasp. Once I had it running, it copied over all my files (about 190 Gigs worth) in about 5 1/2 hours. Not bad for that much data for my laptop connected to my tower through a hub (100Mb/s).
The point for me isn't the speed though, it's the fact that it kept going even when it encountered a few errors (locked system files) so in the end, I was very very happy with it and I'd recommend it to anyone who needs to bulk copy files from one place to another.
