Best dvd-writing experience i've ever had... 4 stars
Nero is too expensive and Roxio, the tripe that comes with most burners, is so awful it boggles the mind. I needed a program that could successfully burn data DVDs, and DeepBurner basically did what I needed it to do: which, after using Roxio, is nothing short of miraculous. It took a little under 2 hrs. to burn a DVD+R (no multisession, didn't want to complicate things) and there was not one stutter, not one paranoid pause. The completed DVD+R reads as smoothly as it burned. All my DVDs burned with Roxio read slowly and with a lot of strained whirring; this one reads effortlessly and without delay. Price: Free
