This seemed to work at first, but it took a long time to load the first program on the list, so long in fact, that it actually slowed down the system rather than speeding up the boot sequence.
Next day, the programs in the start menu didn't run at all, and had to be started manually. The hard way as they were no longer inthe startup menu. The ones called from the registry were running, but I hadn't asked startright to touch those.
I tried to restore the programs, but it wouldn't let me do it easily as they were no longer listed. I had to install again, which somehow (ini file?) found them and I was able to restore them.
There's no uninstall option, I had to delete the file then go into the registry to remove it.
I need something like this, as I run an internet cafe and sometimes I need to reboot the server. I need the cafe management software running as soon as possible, but all the other stuff loading holds it back. This would be ideal, if only it worked in invisible mode. I could only get it to work in graphical. Set to invisible the delayed programs weren't launched.
Still, it's better than before, so I'll use it until I find something better...
