A real keeper for novice and pro alike.

After a very easy and fast install, I had only two things to do as far as setup was concerned. First of all I turned the firewall on. This involved a one click operation. Secondly I scheduled a weekly Advanced scan. That was it! It was ready to go and go it did. I noticed That my computer booted faster than with my old anti-virus. The scan times were very fast also. I have about 5 more memory available than before. I have tried many anti-virus packages over the years and this is by far the best on system resources I have ever ran across. This little gem has two scanning engines, auto updates, personal firewall and spyware/malware protection. Roboscan has no bloat. The only con I can think of Is advertising on bottom of main UI. No biggy. Try this out and you will be surprised how effective it is and convenient to use. I'm Sure in the near future this will be rated up there with Avast, Comodo, AVG and all other major internet security favorites.

Not too bad so far

Well, I'm giving this a try and of course as with any security software, not only can it take some time (real time) not 5 min to determine just how good it is. While I used to test security software, I don't do such any more but I may give this one a run, it seems good so far. It's not hogging resources that I've noticed or seen and seems very thorough and complete for a free security software. So far I have one detection fdmumsp.dll which is a false positive and has been reported. It's FreeDownloadManager's IE addon (or should be). If it changes along with how RoboScan is working, I will update my review as I go. So far based on what I've seen and how it's running, it's doing a fair job at trying to block out the baddies. It has some in depth options yet easy to understand which anyone should appreciate. This could be a very good security software so far but we'll see. I'll rate it a 4 for now.

Nice but not for an older pc

Nice interface..fast scans..easy to navigate...but my older PC just can't handle it. It installs at 384MB. Getting good ratings all over the Internet... Take it for a spin, I think you'll like it.
