At least one problem remains in the latest version - V3.20.1750. If you COPY either your SendTo menu or your Program Files menu (or any part of it) to a TEMP folder and then delete the copy from there to the Recycle.Bin, CCleaner will delete the folder contents (the .lnk files) but not those folders themselves. Looking in Windows Explorer, it APPEARS that CCleaner deleted them, but viewing them through a superior file manager such as XYplorer, or better yet from the Command Line, you will see those folders still exist.
Other than this one fairly insignificant annoyance, it's one of the greatest utilities out there. Keep up the great work, Piriform!
Excellent program which has always been quite reliable for many years, as well. Great tool for getting rid of 'crap files'.
CCleaner (originally aptly named: Crap Cleaner) also includes a 'registry scanner' that scans for invalid references and options to start cleaning automatically; and it is especially better than so many others out there (freeware OR shareware) because it is so safe-to-use, IMO...
I have CCleaner installed and use "CCEnhancer" with it as well. However - for speed - I currently use Cloud System Booster which is also much more configurable than CCleaner).
