Well, you can browse shows and info on them which may come in handy, especially if you haven't seen a show in a long time or can't remember exact names, etc...
To get down to basics, it's what's stated above and a TV and movie torrent search, so yes, legal issues are something you have to watch for.
I didn't find it all that helpful in my case, if I want to see a show I can search for it or watch it elsewhere, I stay away from torrenting (my personal preference of course) so this held little in the way of usefulness for me. I did try the torrent search and it yielded very little in the way of finds and most were not correct.
Other than that, it's a decent application with information on TV shows and such and others may find it useful. Likely if you torrent, you will find it much more useful, plus I suggest using something else for searching torrents if you do.
