I want to first mention some of the options because at first glance, some may think, "This is way to simple and basic", but it's actually packed with quite a few options.
Once you hit the menu, you will see that this isn't so basic, it has background color change, text color change, numerous font styles to choose from, easily adjust margins, view in book format or not, maximize to fill the whole screen with your book view, TOC (table of contents), you can even edit the document, change line spacing, count blank lines or not, etc... and there are more.
Turning the pages is simply, point on the page corner number and turn, OR even easier, just hit the forward and backward arrows on the keyboard.
There are no fancy page turnings or such or sounds but what this is, is a solid reader with a decent book format that's easy and fun to use.
This program is absolutely excellent, and has replaced yBook on my computer for the best Gutenburg reader program.
I've got to give Spacejock Software's Ybook the advantage in overall appearance, but eTextreader seems to have a few more features. Either one gets the job done, but I seem to recall eTextReader offering a setup that was a little easier to read overall. Check them both out, because you really can't go wrong either way.
