How did we live without it ? 5 stars by DataRat Apr 27, 2010 (Read all my 13 reviews)
Wonderful little utility that doesn't do much, but what it ~does~ do is IMPORTANT ! I've been using this applet for a few years (since XP, and now with Vista). Always has worked ...and worked good ! Don't forget that you not only can rearrange your task list, you can also rearrange the icons in the "system tray" / "notification tray" (or whatever Microsoft is calling it this week !). For many of us, screen-position is more critical than text labeling or, even, icon shape/color. Your cursor is invisibly drawn to return to the ~same~ location it's habituated to. Use Taskbar Shuffle to have taskbar items where your muscle-memory expects to find them ! showShow review details
Absolutely awesome! 5 stars by Richard95035 Feb 23, 2010
The only thing that would push this over the top would be a preview of the page when hovering... Nicely done! showShow review details
It just works ... 5 stars by kenbb99 Dec 24, 2009 (Read all my 2 reviews)
Does what it says. Makes it easy to organize open taskbar items the way you want - for me, current projects farthest to the right. showShow review details
My heart`s desire! 5 stars by Henry8 Apr 28, 2009 (Read all my 35 reviews)
I guess I'm like most people, and have the same programs running day after day. However, even if I've tried to develop a practice to open them in a certain order... guess what... it doesn't always work out that way. The whole mess leads to the fact that what should be first is third, and the third one is the fifth... and go figure! So I have to go dingle-dangle looking for the first... Well, that seems to be the past, at least if this nice freebie keeps on working as well as it has. I just move them like I want to. A highly usable program. showShow review details
Big help..when it works 4 stars by GinnaBL Jan 11, 2009 (Read all my 5 reviews)
This is a fine program, but, it doesn't always work. XP has its moods, so, if it's "one-of-those-days" grin and bear is all I can do. Another drawback is that the software must be kept running even when not needed, it doesn't 'fix' the Tray icon positions once and for all, so, on startup/reboot, everyone in the notification area is in kayos again. I've tried several similar progs, they too need to be forever running behind the scenes to "maintain order". But, for those of you who love a lil bit of a hassle, try it out..you could do worse. showShow review details
Praise xenu! 5 stars by atltom331 May 07, 2008
For years I have been cursing Microsoft for not allowing the task bar elements to be rearranged. Why Microsoft, why?! Finally I decided to see what the internet had to say about the problem and lo and behold I came upon Taskbar Shuffle. Thank you thank you thank you task bar Gods! showShow review details

Awesome! 5 stars by brothergabriel Apr 01, 2008 (Read all my 15 reviews)
This is a must have. I have used it for over a year. The *only* drawback is that it uses 3000k of RAM memory - but that isn't a problem, because if you really need that pittance, you can just close the program from the system tray. It starts with windows. Really, this should have been included in windows in the first place. showShow review details
Finally! 5 stars by Tantalus Mar 05, 2008 (Read all my 6 reviews)
I have been wishing a program like this existed for years. Today I discovered Taskbar Shuffle and installed it immediately on XP Pro. Let me say that it's like manna from heaven! I am now able to arrange my taskbar buttons in the order I prefer. This should be a standard feature in Windows--especially Vista. But alas, Microsoft is too focused on adding features that have minimal impact on users. showShow review details
Nice surprise! 5 stars by caboing May 22, 2007 (Read all my 18 reviews)
Yes! I prefer the buttons in the order that I decide it is better for me. You see, knowing where the application "usually is" is way faster than "mousing" for it. showShow review details
Should be included in windows 5 stars by pepoluan May 21, 2007 (Read all my 23 reviews)
This enables me to rearrange those buttons on WinXP's taskbar. Really makes using my PC more enjoyable. showShow review details
Simple 5 stars by LyonessKim Feb 24, 2007 (Read all my 9 reviews)
I enjoy this program because I don't have to think about it. I just arrange my programs in the task bar the way that is most efficient for me and go back to work. showShow review details
Why? 5 stars by bhjkarlsson Sep 09, 2006 (Read all my 7 reviews)
Why has not MS already included this functionality into the taskbar. OK I admit that it's the similar functionality in Firefox taskbar that made me realize the need. Doubt that I would have thought about it otherwise. But when you think about it it's so obvious that you wonder why it's not in windows from scratch. showShow review details
Good and bad! 3 stars by Nickha May 23, 2006 (Read all my 2 reviews)
Did what it was meant to, i'm not sure why Microsoft don't build this into Windows as a standard feature. On the 2nd day however it caused all sorts of access violations and I had to uninstall it but if you can keep it working it's a great program. showShow review details

Makes the Windows XP task bar your task bar. Ease to use. It does exactly what it says it does. It has become part of my standard kit since I first loaded it a couple of weeks ago. Highly recommended to all geeks. showShow review details
