Tried them all 5 stars by marrjam Mar 25, 2011 (Read all my 3 reviews)
I wanted something that would scan my hard drive and pick up all the movies that I ripped from DVD. Gathers them all and then I click to go online and have it automatically download reviews & pix of the movies that I have. The icon is on my Windows 7 taskbar and whenever I want to watch a movie I click the icon and browse a visual representation of all my movies (with write ups). Double click on the picture and up pops the movie in my default movie player, how cool is that? Works on a network also, so if you have all your movies on a server rather than your pc hard drive, or individually catalog for your dvd/bluray player you can do it any number of ways. Very visually oriented and far more powerful than what my needs are for. showShow review details
Very good indeed. 4 stars by yassertariq Nov 27, 2007 (Read all my 77 reviews)
It's a very comprehensive movie database-manager. Its interface outshines all other movie-organizers. Having said that, I'm still hooked-up on EMDB since it's much faster (although very basic) and it fulfills all my needs. showShow review details
The best movie archiving software 5 stars by Weazal Jun 07, 2007
Ive been searching around the web for awhile now trying to find decent movie archiving software for my hefty collection. I ended up liking All My Movies because it was the only one that met all the criteria I was looking for: -A simple, intuitive interface -Downloads information from IMDb (specifically Director, Plot Description, IMDb User Rating, and Year) -Allows you to specify format besides DVD (specifically movies on CD) -DVD covers. It seems AMM has the highest resolution auto-downloaded covers, and also shows screenshots (which I didnt think was a big deal) but really appreciate now for getting a more accurate feel of a movie while perusing. Also nice is when you click on any detail in the movie information field, theres the option to then sort all movies that share that criteria - like specific genre, director, rating, etc. I tested Collectorz, DVDProfiler, and others but they were more intensive, muddled, and didnt do all I wanted. showShow review details
