I'm not a big user of tweaking applications. The two or three tweaks I applied with Fresh UI, like removing the shortcut icon arrow, were easy to find and apply. showShow review details

Well, it would be a great tweak utility but for the most part, it's a bit screwy. All I did was open it to view the options and now it's saying I need a restart?? What the...? So after browsing each option, most of which didn't impress me and those that did are already enabled. It's a very nice tweak tool but use with caution! There are other tweakers out there and I just don't feel this one was ALL THAT. Good but far from excellent. I am wondering what's going to happen if I do restart. I think a restore point is in order. showShow review details

If you know precisely what you want FreshUI to do, and you very regularly save System Restore points, and you are careful to implement one setting at a time, and you understand which settings will irrevocably alter your computer (i.e. security lockouts, etc.), and you keep a lucky rabbit's foot nearby, this is the most well-designed, most effective, most truly dynamic and useful tweak tool available. The interface is pristine, ToolTip support is plentiful, and everything is more or less reversible. Registering is painless and emails are few. Best used in conjunction with TweakUI. Oh, and if you make one little mistake or misunderstand a setting, your computer and its user interface are doomed. So if you are brave and cautious, the sky's the limit. showShow review details

I hadn't changed any settings at all just to check out the features, and when I restarted, all my icons were screwed and the system was lagged severely. I uninstalled and still haven't figured out what was changed. showShow review details
