Great program 5 stars by Shadowling Feb 18, 2007 (Read all my 2 reviews)
Great FTP program. Very Easy to use, has everything I am use to in an FTP program, and at that cost I would recommend it to anyone. show Review details
Nice ftp app with a couple bugs 4 stars by pcs800 Apr 18, 2006 (Read all my 222 reviews)
I like how this app allows you to edit html pages right from the server, then uploads the edited file from your editors temp directory. But it won't do the same for php files that I can tell. The other thing is that while transferring 30-40 files at a time, it stopped on me and I had to force it to close, then could not delete a file in a directory I was uploading from because it was locked by the surfer.exe still running. Other than that, it is a pretty unique FTP client. show Review details
Thumbs up for beginners. 5 stars by Welpekatze Apr 01, 2006
This is all you need! It's so easy and self explanatory. I haven't even gotten into the advanced stuff, but I'm happy to know that it's there for when I do. This programs is very simple and it's just what I was looking for. show Review details
Simple but good 5 stars by MichaelMaltenfort Sep 15, 2005 (Read all my 3 reviews)
FTP Surfer performs simple tasks admirably. Nothing fancy, and it doesn't look incredibly slick. But it gets the job done and it's easy to use. show Review details
Almost perfect, but.. 4 stars by darroo Aug 28, 2005 (Read all my 6 reviews)
I used this nice program for a while, but then i noticed that while uploading files to a remote virtual server, the upload does not seem to know the end of the file has been hit, goes past the byte limit, waits and waits, then starts over. If i watch closely, i can flip to the remote desktop and make a quick copy before the attempt is aborted and the remote file deleted. This makes this program useless for my needs, but it is soooo close to being excellent. cheers. show Review details
And the winner is... 5 stars by hiphip1 Jun 21, 2005 (Read all my 2 reviews)
FTP Whisper has what I need. Can edit files with my preferred program, search for files (by name or content) and all the basic stuff that a FTP program is supposed to do. I like most FileZilla's interface, with visible local directories. But still FTP Surfer is bound to be my FTP program. show Review details
