This does what Noise Ninja and other noise reduction plugins do inside Photoshop--and that's its only disadvantage. It does not integrate and work within Photoshop. However, it's easy to use for photos that have noise, and it's also useful for portraits and wedding photos where you want somewhat smoothed skin and textures.
Simply run those shots through DCE, rename by adding a digit or other symbol of your choice so you can maintain unchanged your original files, and then process these with Lightroom or Photoshop.
The interface is simple to use, the defaults work fine almost 100% of the time, and the only drawback to the interface is the small size of the images.
It does touch up photos very quickly and nicely, it's easy to use too. I didn't like the preview windows however. Even if you enlarge it, it's not large enough to see the changes in full. If there was an option for preview in a large side by side, I would give it a 5. Example... I have large digital photos but original preview size is to compact for detail to be seen, when you do enlarge, you have to pan through the whole picture. Other than that, it does a great job.
This little program works "TOTALLY AWESOME" and is extremely easy to use. Makes your photos look professionally done.
Check it out for yourself you won't be disappointed, and the best part is, is it's freeware !

Absolutely essential for any digital camera user, just load your picture and let the defaults take over! My pictures always looked like they were taken in fog, DCE automatically enhances brightness, contrast and colour -transforming the image. If you are dissatisfied in any way with your digital pictures try DCE. As a previous reviewer said this program should be included in all digital cameras.
